| Rock Beaching
At Mirvac's Beacon Cove site Ace Contractors carried out:
Demolition of site, bulk excavation including retention
and dewatering
Detailed excavation of liftover runs, pad
footings, retaining walls and beach promenade
Construction of bund walls
Reclamation of beach promenade to provide
building pads for townhouses
Construction of two rock groins approximately 150 metres
into the bay
Construction of 1800 diametre stormwater outfall
in to the bay in five metres of water
Construction of beach using 100,000 tonnes of imported sand from Lang Lang.
All work completed ahead of schedule.
