As part of upgrading the crushing plant at their Laverton Site, Alex Fraser Group opted to receive High Voltage Power supply to meet the additional power requirements.
The agreement between Powercor and Alex Fraser group is for a 73A supply at 22KV via a HV overhead line off Alex Fraser Drive.
The 22KV supply is received at an indoor switchroom called Alex Fraser 22KV Switchroom, owned and operated by Alex Fraser Group located off Alex Fraser Drive. The switchroom houses the 22KV switchgear comprising Energy Retailer metering equipment.
