As part of Melbourne’s landmark Metro Tunnel Project, ACE delivered extensive civil and streetscape works surrounding the new State Library Station at the northern end of Swanston Street. The works formed a key component of the station precinct, restoring and enhancing surrounding infrastructure to City of Melbourne standards.
The works included road reconstruction and resurfacing, bluestone footpaths and kerbs, traffic signal and public lighting infrastructure, landscaping, irrigation systems, retaining walls, street furniture, and urban realm improvements.
The project successfully transformed the public realm around State Library Station, delivering high-quality urban infrastructure that enhances accessibility, safety and amenity within Melbourne’s CBD.
