Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) appointed ACE Infrastructure to construct the new Sunshine Signal Maintenance Depot to support a major expansion of Signal Maintenance Technician (SMT) resources. Built on the “Up” side of the existing depot, this vital rail asset sits directly adjacent to the newly commissioned Sunshine Signal Control Centre (SSCC). ACE managed the heavy civil construction, structural works, and specialised rail security infrastructure required to deliver this high-capacity, modern maintenance facility.
