ACE Contractors, along with Major Road Projects Victoria are building new bike lanes between Lithgow Avenue and Charnwood Road to physically separate drivers and cyclists to make St Kilda Road safer.
ACE Contractors engaged Orca Civil Products, an Australian, award-winning manufacturer of high-value recycled products to custom-make the separators from its carbon-neutral facility in Melbourne.
These separators are made up from up to 80 per cent glass recycled from landfill, and 10 per cent calcium carbonate.
