Prahran Square is a spectacular architectural community piazza area that was completed in late December 19’.
The city of Stonnington’s $60 million plus transformation of the old Cato street car park in Prahran delivered around 10,000 m2 of multi-functional urban parkland that sits above the 500 space car park.
It is one of the first in Melbourne to turn a hard unfriendly surface (car park) into a softer green space for the community.
The Ace landscape team were a crucial part of the re-development of the modern urban plaza with the scope of works including;

With over 5100m2 concrete pours, 2570m2 of paving installed, 1500+ m3 soil pumped, 4750m2 of asphalt roads, 150 trees planted along with 7250 plus plants installed, the outcome speaks for itself.
With a variety of spaces that is inviting to visitors, the area is a model for sustainable development and urban revitalisation serving as a destination for everyone.
