ACE was contracted by CPB to deliver the Bulleen Road re-alignment package of the North East Link Early Works (NELEW). Works were executed in 2 stages.
ACE’s scope of works included:
- Facilitation of service relocations, including stormwater, electrical and communications conduit installations
- Vic Track service installations and coordination with live rail movements including permits, service locations, proving and hydro Excavation, installation of bedding materials, pits & conduits and rectification of localised areas.
- Traffic Control and Management
- Demolition of existing pavement,kerbs,lintels,grates etc
- Installation of temporary pavement
- Full reinstatement of Bullen Road to its original condition and alignment
The contract was completed across 2 main areas: including Bulleen Road and Watsonia Train Station, diverting roads and carparks to facilitate future service relocations beneath. All works were completed in operational areas, coordinating with the congested road users and adjacent train station.
